Lucrezia Ruckinger — but most people call me Gretzi or Grace — is the founder and head coach of RuckFIT Wellness. A former collegiate field hockey athlete, I found myself in that all-too-familiar post-college space of “okay… now what?” and quickly realized I didn’t want to stop being coached — I wanted to become the coach. That calling led me to start coaching field hockey in 2012, holding multiple roles across two school districts while also co-owning Pursuit Field Hockey Club, a competitive training and travel program.
Alongside coaching, I’ve been a Special Education teacher since 2012, a background that deeply shaped how I approach coaching today — meeting people where they are, adapting plans, and creating systems that actually work in real life. Right before welcoming my first son, I stepped away from field hockey and leaned fully into fitness and nutrition coaching. Since 2020, RuckFIT Wellness has helped over 800 people across the U.S. build stronger bodies, healthier habits, and more confident lives — all while I took two maternity leaves, became a stay-at-home mom to my two little ones (now 3 and 1), and grew RFW to record-breaking levels.
My passion lives at the intersection of fitness, nutrition, lifestyle, injury-smart training, mindset, and community. I believe consistency beats perfection every time, and that transformation happens when people feel supported, challenged, and genuinely seen — even in a remote world. Whether I’m coaching a workout, building a challenge, or hyping someone up through a tough season, my mission is simple: help people enhance their lifestyle and realize just how capable they truly are.
